How do I get Hootsuite to publish to my Facebook company page?

 

Hootsuite can be a very useful tool to help you manage your social media sites. It is an involved tool though and may take some training. The below steps outline how to add your Facebook page to your Hootsuite account but the steps can be followed also to add other social accounts to Hootsuite as well.

    1. You will need to go to the settings tab in your Hootsuite. You can find that on the left hand side of the screen. It is the icon of  a gear.
    2. Go to the Social Network Tab under the Settings tab.
    3. In the middle column of the Social Network tab at the very top there will be an option to  + Add Social Network, hit that.
    4. Go to the Facebook option.
    5. Hit Connect with Facebook.
    6. You will get a screen with all the pages you are an administrator for.
    7. Click the page you wish to add and it will import it to your Hootsuite.
    8. When you are done hit Finished Importing at the bottom of the box.
    9. You will now have a tab on your Hootsuite for the newly imported page.
    10. When writing a message check the page box to send it to that page. Make sure your personal profile is not checked.
